Some businesses may choose not to sell online. A website is still a great tool to drive customers to a physical location/venue.
However, if you do choose to sell online, you have some choices. Much depends on the type and volume of merchandise/services you are selling.
We can help you set up a simple order form. Customers contact you with the items/services they are interested in purchasing, and you respond via email with the total cost (including tax and shipping), as well as payment options. There is no additional charge for this. It is a solution that works especially well for people like artists who sell one-of-a-kind items.
A PayPal button can be added to items on any Products and Services or PayPal page. You must have a PayPal account, and configure each of your items with pricing, shipping, and other transaction information. We can show you how to do this. Visitors to your website will be able to click the PayPal button and purchase goods/services.
If you expect to sell large volumes or have a wide range of goods/services, you may consider a Merchant Account. This gives visitors the Shopping Cart option. Because it is more complex, there is an additional charge for set up. Monthly web hosting fees are also higher. However, if this is the most appropriate choice for your business, the return on your investment should more than offset the cost.
We are happy to discuss all these options, and help you choose the one that is best for you.
